Peninah's story

Peninah is 48 years old, married and helps support a family of six people. She earns a living by running a retail shop where she has earned an income of KES. 48,000 a month for the last eight years. She has successfully taken out and repaid six previous loans from KADET LTD and is requesting a new loan, for KES. 100,000, to buy more items to sell to her customers, including sugar, salt, crates of soft drinks and maize flour. She plans to use the additional income she will earn to pay school fees for her children and expand her business.
