A loan of $1,450 helped to buy supplies for his livestock business.

Ramon's story

Sr. Ramon, 43, and his wife, Reina, live in Vallecito, a small town 35 kilometers from the city of Monteagudo. They have a grown son who often helps them with their farming and livestock business. They grow and harvest yellow maize on their farm. They earn extra income by raising and selling pigs and by using a maize-threshing machine that they own to deliver threshing services to other area farmers. Ramon is applying for a loan that he will use to buy animal feed for the pigs that he raises. The investment will provide the family with an extra income.
