A loan of $200 helped to buy tires and a canopy for a moto-taxi.

Edwin's story

Edwin, age 30, is a hard-working and very cheerful man. He lives in the company of his wife, Sarita, with whom he has 2 children, Judith and Guillermo. Together with them, he has lived in the home of his aunt for 4 years. Since he was 18, he worked tirelessly in agriculture, since he always took care of his parents. When he started his own family, he thought about obtaining a steady income and being able to live in the city, and for that reason he bought his moto-taxi. Since then, he has been working without rest every day, since he wants to have a house of his own. During these years, it has gone so well for him that he bought another moto-cart, and he taught his wife to drive it, so that they could work together to transport people around the city. Now he works much more, since he has to provide constant maintenance for both moto-taxis. He hopes that he will be able to continue saving and to buy more moto-taxis. His dream is to start his own transportation company. On this occasion, he is requesting 500 soles to buy new tires and a canopy to improve his moto-taxi. In turn, he is committed to making his loan payments punctually and responsibly.
