A loan of $325 helped to buy materials for building a trellis for her chayote crop.

Gloria Karina's story

Gloria is a 32-year-old single mother with two children. She and her family live in a neighborhood in the town of Santa Cruz de Yojoa.

Gloria is a farmer who has spent the past 10 years growing chayote squash. Whatever she produces is sold at the local market. She is requesting her second loan, which is in the amount of 6,000 HNL, so that she can buy materials such as wooden posts, nails, and string for making a trellis for her chayote crop.

Her plans include expanding and improving her crop.
