A loan of $3,000 helped to buy more sheep to produce more diary products to sell to the local village people.

Lina's story

Lina is a conservative person who prefers not to have her photo published online, so her husband appears in her Kiva profile photo.

Lina is a 44-year-old, married woman. She lives in a small village called Deir Al-Hatab near Nablus. Her husband is an employee with a very low wage and he also owns some sheep. Lina and her husband would like to improve their family's income by buying more sheep to produce milk and dairy products to sell to the local people in the village.

Lina took a 3,000 USD loan from FATEN. This loan will help Lina and her husband to buy more sheep and increase their family's income.
