Shoghik's story

Shoghik, from the village of Mrgavan in the Ararat region, lives with her husband, mother-in-law and three children. She and her husband own land upon which they cultivate tomatoes, peaches, apricots and apple trees. Involved in agriculture for seven years, it has already become a part of their life. Their son helps them to take the harvest to the market and sell it to the local market traders.



Shoghik owns an old greenhouse which needs to be renovated, so she is requesting this loan to purchase a polyethylene cover for it and to cover cultivation costs. The renovated greenhouse will enable her to cultivate a variety of of fruits and vegetables.
