A loan helped a member to buy corn flour, cooking oil, rice and soap for his retail shop.

Nseese Kakwekulakulanya Group's story

Patrick is a 41-year-old man with seven children who all go to school. He lives in Lyantonde, a trading center that is near Mbarara town. He has a retail shop that helps him take care of his family. His customers are people within his village. He also does some subsistence farming.

He has asked for a loan for buying corn flour, rice, cooking oil, soap and other items for the shop.

Patrick's dream is to see all seven of his children obtain a university education. He also wishes that the lending rates would come down.
