This is 26-year-old Juliana from Mutare, the capital of Minicaland province in Zimbabwe. She is married with two children, one attending school. She also cares for one dependent. Juliana runs a retail business selling clothes and electrical goods. The business has been in operation for four years. She says the main challenges faced are high transportation costs. Juliana has requested a loan of $900 to buy more clothes and electrical goods for resale. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to increase the family's disposable income. In the future, Juliana plans to build her business to a competitive level.
