Greetings from Zimbabwe! This is 39-year-old Manyara Ireen from Mutare. She is married with five children – four attending school. She also cares for one other dependent.

Manyara Ireen runs a retail business selling clothes and stock feeds. The business has been in operation for three years. She says the main challenge faced is shortage of stock feeds when there is high demand. Manyara Ireen has requested a loan of $400 to purchase clothes and stock feeds to sell. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to improve her family's general welfare. In the future, Manyara Ireen plans to have ownership of her own boutique shop.
