In spite of life’s challenges, Simon says he has always worked and been responsible for his wife and children. He works in agriculture growing the basic grains of the region, such as corn and beans. He pays for his household expenses from the proceeds of his harvests.
Simon would like to continue growing and selling his crops, and it is for this reason that he approached INTEGRAL to request this loan to buy agricultural supplies such as seeds, manure, fertilizer, and others. He says he hopes to receive this help and also that he expects to pay off the loan early.
More information about this loan
This loan is part of Apoyo Integral's program to help subsistence farmers located in high-risk regions of El Salvador, including coastal strips, river banks, and volcano fault lines. The program, which offers reduced interest rates, targets farmers who don't qualify for formal funding due to their low-income and geographical risk. By funding this loan, you are helping Apoyo and a local non-governmental organization extend risk-tolerant credit to even more farmers.
