A loan of $1,625 helped a member to buy fabric, thread and supplies for her small grocery store.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The communal bank “Mujeres Unidas” (United Women) was born with the idea of growth that all of the members have, as they want to help their families by means of the work as a whole that they all do.

Elisa is one of the members who is a very hardworking person and who fights for her family to be able to give them everything they need. She is a dressmaker and also she has a small grocery store with everything that her customers need for the home. Thanks to her work and to the support of her family and her group she is getting ahead.

She is requesting this loan to be able to invest it in the purchase of cloth, thread and also supplies for her small grocery store, so that in this manner she can continue with her work as she has been doing it and thus help her family.
