A loan of $825 helped to buy notebooks, pencil holders, erasers, markers, colored pencils and school uniforms.

Martha Lorena's story

Martha is 49 years old and lives in Managua. She makes a living selling cosmetics and various articles. She began selling cosmetics on foot, offering a variety of creams and make-up. Her most consistent customers have been beauty salons and young women that work in banks and businesses.

With time she began adding more products to offer a greater variety to her customers. She is currently requesting a loan to buy notebooks, pencil holders, erasers, markers, colored pencils and school uniforms. Her expectation is to offer a variety of personal use products that are very useful in the home. She hopes to add clothing to sell. Little by little she has been stocking her general store and this will allow her to grow as a business owner and be able to have a more stable business while getting more customers.
