A loan of $2,200 helped a member to buy fabrics and thread.

San Pedro Group's story

The San Pedro group was started with the management and support of another group that worked in the same area as these women. The women joined together and set their goal as both the economic and personal growth of each member.

Sirsa, one of the members of the group, is a seamstress. She is a very creative person who knows all the aspects of her work. Sirsa says she has been sewing for some time now and has established a very good following of customers. They are always bringing her work to do, and she says that it is thanks to this that she is getting ahead.

Sirsa is requesting this loan to buy fabrics and thread, and to continue making garments and filling her customers’ orders.

In this group: Mirta, Sirsa, Emeteria, Lorena, Petrona, Calixta, Leticia, Maria, Estela, Crecencia, Monica, Librada
