A loan of $600 helped to buy soaps and dyed fabrics to resell.

Aida's story

Aida, who is married, lives in Senegal and has been selling fabrics and clothing for more than ten years. She is a member of one of the U-IMCEC branches where she is requesting a loan of 300,000FCFA to buy fabrics for resale, so that she can satisfy customer demand. She would like to diversify the range of products she sells by using her loan to buy soaps as well as dyed fabrics so that she can expand the products she offers to her customers and at the same time the profits which she generates from her business. Her ambition is to increase her savings so that she can in the future have her own shop where she can display the goods she sells.
