Oulèye's story

Ouleye, who is married, lives in Senegal and has been selling fritters for the past ten years. She begins her working day at eight o'clock in the morning and finishes at six in the evening. She is a member of one of the U-IMCEC branches where she has already repaid three previous loans. She is requesting a new loan of 400,000FCFA to buy flour and sugar at competitive prices, so that she can increase her business's profit margin. The increase in her profits will thus help her to save more money so that she can achieve her ambition of acquiring a shop.
