A loan of $1,500 helped a member to buy chicks, stock feed, and diesel for the grinding mill.

Rutendo Group's story

Greetings from Zimbabwe! This is 35-year-old Blantina from Masvingo. She is married with five children, three of which attend school. Blantina runs an agricultural business selling chickens. The business has been in operation for four years. She says that the main challenge she faces is running out of stock feed before selling all of her chickens, thereby incurring more costs. Blantina has requested a loan of 400 USD to buy chicks, stock feed, and diesel for the grinding mill. She says that the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to improve the welfare of her family. In the future, Blantina plans to buy a truck to transport her chickens to various markets.
