A loan of $325 helped to buy pork, beef, fish, and chicken.

Liz's story

Liz is 27 years old and married to Segundo. They have two children (ages 8 and 4) and live together in a home they built a few years ago out of solid materials. Her business activity involves selling meat such as beef, pork, fish, and other products. She conducts her work in front of her house where she has a table set up for displaying all of the meat she has on hand for preparing different stews that are on her daily menu for her customers. Liz has been in this business for six months. She considers her business to be profitable because of the financial earnings that it generates. The need to cover shortages in her household income has motivated her to develop in her work, sometime leaving her extremely exhausted. Nonetheless, she hopes to continue her business since it is her only source of income.

Liz is taking this opportunity to request 800 PEN. For this reason, she is grateful to everyone who made this loan possible so that she can move forward with her plans. The amount she requested will be used to buy pork, beef, fish, and chicken so that she can continue to sell from her stand.
