A loan of $700 helped to pay for school expenses such as uniforms, shoes, backpacks and notebooks and to buy construction materials such as tile to install a floor in his home.

Rafael Alberto's story

Rafael Alberto lives in the city of Managua and has worked as an instructor of plastic arts in a professional training center for more than six years. He teaches his skills to people with a strong desire to better themselves. Rafael works from eight in the morning to five in the evening to provide for his family’s livelihood.

Rafael is requesting this loan through CEPRODEL to pay for school expenses such as uniforms, shoes, backpacks and notebooks. He will use the rest to buy construction materials such as tile to install a floor in his house, which is made of earth.

This loan will help Rafael give his son a better education and future. Rafael is very grateful to Kiva and CEPRODEL for this opportunity and their support.
