A loan of $1,525 helped a member to buy building materials such as cement, iron and corrugated zinc for the construction of a family home.

James S.'s Group's story

Greetings are coming to you from this group of borrowers living and working in Koidu city, in eastern Sierra Leone.

These able and dedicated teachers have just concluded repaying their last Kiva loan and are very grateful to all Kiva lenders who made that loan possible for them. That loan created a huge impact in the lives of these borrowers. They were able to use it to repair their houses.

Having successfully finished repaying that loan, they have again reapplied for a new loan of 6,500,000 Sierra Leonean Leones to further meet unresolved or new challenges.

Featured leader James is again going to use his share of the loan to buy house building materials in order to continue with the house building project he had begun with his first Kiva loan.
