Lilian, who is in her late 30s, is married with three children of her own and one orphan; all of them go to school. She has been running a Ggengeduka (meaning fruits, vegetable, sugar, rice, beans, etc., in the same shop) She works from 7.00 am to 9.00 pm daily and is able to make a goo monthly profit.

This will be her eighth loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to buy more fruits, vegetables and missing items in the dry foods, like sugar, wheat flour, beans, etc.; build a business premises; build a gate for her fence; pay schools fees; and cover household expenses. She has paid back all her loans successfully. She will use this loan to buy more fruits, vegetables, sugar, flour, beans, rice, salt and dry peas. Her dream is to one day be able to fill her shop with products because now it is big but has few products.

Lilian will share this loan with her loan group, "Mt Ulunguru," which has a total of 14 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
