A loan of $775 helped to buy supplies for embroidery and sewing.

Ana Patricia's story

Ana Patricia is a native of the municipality of Tecpan Guatemala. She is responsible for her two minor children. For a number of years now she has worked making school uniforms and hand-made embroidery.

She began with a small business, which she says thanks to God grew little by little into her current business. Her husband works with her in her business, and thanks to his support she is able to keep going with her work for the benefit of her family.

Her dream is to increase the size of her business in order to earn greater profits. With more profits she would like to send her children to school so that they have a better future.

Ana Patricia has had three Kiva loans previously and she says she has been punctual in making her payments and did not fall into default. She is requesting this loan to buy supplies for embroidery and sewing.
