A loan of $600 helped to purchase grains.

Aguibou's story

Mr. AGUIBOU was born in 1977 in Missasso C/Sikasso. He lives in his own house in Niena (3rd administrative region of the Republic of Mali). He has been running businesses stocking and selling grains for five years. His experience in this domain has earned him a good reputation, and he receives orders from diverse customers.

Thus, to obtain the necessary resources to satisfy these customers, he decided to collaborate with the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso three years ago. The previous loans were properly repaid. This loan will enable him to buy and sell about thirty 50-kg sacks of grains. He gets his supplies in Niena City, as well as in surrounding villages, such as Lobougoula. Sales are made locally at his store in Niena. His customer base is composed of men and women from the village.

With this loan, he envisions making an average monthly profit of 60,000 francs CFA. This profit will enable him to pay the loan interest and to invest in his business. He plans on becoming a renowned wholesaler in order to satisfy his large and ever-growing customer base.
