Tereza's story

Tereza, who is 34 years old and lives with her mother in Zuygaxbyur, a village in the Shirak region, runs a farm which currently includes 12 cows, 10 sheep and 10 chickens. She also cultivates wheat, barley and grass. Tereza does her best to earn a high income and sustain her mother's living. As the only breadwinner in the family, she works hard to cover daily costs and at the same time run the farm.

Because it is very difficult for her to save money and cover operational costs, Tereza has applied for a loan to purchase forage to feed the livestock. The loan is very important for her as she strives to ensure a better life for her mother.
