A loan of $525 helped to buy supplies, such as groceries and vegetables, at wholesale.

Victoria's story

Victoria is 50 years old and has a son who is 18. She runs a lunch stall which is located in the one of the markets in the Plan 3000 area. This will be her first loan from the institution. Victoria will use the loan to buy supplies at wholesale, such as groceries and vegetables to make her dishes. She is requesting the loan because she cannot afford to buy the supplies she needs. Victoria’s main challenges in her business are the weather conditions and the competition from other food sellers, and that is why she needs to make her dishes taste even better. She will use the money she earns to buy utensils and to expand her business to bring in more customers at hte peak hours of lunch time. Victoria is a very hard-working person, and she is happy about the opportunity given to her by those who make this loan possible.
