Nasygul's story

Nasygul is 49 years old, a widow, and the mother of 4 children, the youngest of whom is her 11 year old daughter. Nasygul's husband died suddenly in 2011. Since 1994, Nasygul has practiced animal husbandry and crop farming, starting this business with 3,000 som (KGS). On Nasygul's farm, she currently has one milk cow with offspring, 15 sheep, and 2.0 hectares of land planted with beans and sainfoin. The monthly profit is about 9,000 som (KGS). The income allows Nasygul to cover her family's daily expenses for food and living needs. In order to further develop her business, Nasygul turned to Bai Tushum and Partners for a loan in the amount of 60,000 som (KGS) for the purchase of 8 sheep, which would increase her income through the resale of livestock. With this income, Nasygul plans to save money for her children's weddings.
