Sahara is 42 years old and married with ten children.
Sahara works hard to provide for her family. She runs a dry goods store in the Philippines and requested a 30,000 PHP loan through NWTF to purchase additional dry goods to sell.
Sahara has borrowed and repaid 23 loans from NWTF before this loan. She has been running her store for 8 years and also earns an income from buying and reselling dried coconut meat and rice grains.
Sahara aspires to save enough to provide a secure future for her family.

(NWTF) is a non-governmental organization established with an aim to help men and women achieve self-sufficiency, particularly in the province of Negros Occidental’s low-income communities. The organization offers its clients a wide variety of products, including loans for micro-entrepreneurs, hospital income benefits, life insurance, accidental death benefits and more. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the reach of these products to low-income urban and rural communities.
