A loan of $2,650 helped a member purchase baked goods, beverages, sweets, yerba, etc.

Rosa Mistica Group's story

One of this group’s members started the group by inviting and organizing her friends to join the program Comité de Mujeres Emprendedoras [Committee of Enterprising Women] so that, by working together, they could help their families.
Lucresia is a domestic employee and she works Monday through Friday. She also runs a small store out of her home. Her mother and 2 small children tend to the store. She requested the loan so she can purchase a variety of items for her store such as baked goods, beverages, sweets, yerba, etc. Lucresia wants to expand her business so she can increase her clientele, allowing her to quit her job as a domestic employee, which is a huge sacrifice.
