A loan of $775 helped to buy supplies for preparing her dishes.

Nancy Lorena's story

Nancy is 36 years old, married, and has four children. She lives in a suburban section of San Pedro Sula.

For the past four years, she has managed her own business of selling food such as “baleadas” (the Honduran version of a burrito), turnovers, fried plantains, tacos, and other items. Her business is located at the local school cafeteria and her customers are the children at the school. Nancy has requested several loans from ODEF for her business.

The loan she is currently requesting is her 14th transaction and is in the amount of 15,000 HNL. The money will be used to buy necessary supplies for making her dishes. Her goal is to improve her home and her quality of life.
