A loan of $750 helped to buy mobile phones.

Francisco Jose's story

Fifty-five year old Francisco is originally from Managua. He is married and has two children, aged eight and ten years. He is a businessman, making a living selling mobile phones. He has had this business for more than three years. He started working in business at the age of 52 with the help of a friend who loaned him money. With it, little by little he bought mobile phones that he would sell on and with a lot of effort and hard work he has managed to do well with the earnings from his business. He has some regular customers. After some time with the business he decided to look for financing in order to diversify the business to earn more money. This will make him a successful businessman. This is his first business and he travels around by bus and on it foot to distributors and to sell his merchandise.

Francisco is applying for a loan to buy mobile phones. He thinks that this loan will help him to buy more phones, of different models that he does not already have, so as to satisfy his customer's needs. His aim is to make a higher profit. One of Francisco's dreams is to be a successful businessman in the field of mobile phones so that he can supply his customers and work with his own capital.
