A loan of $625 helped re-decorate his tailor shop.

Omar's story

Omar lives in Senegal. He is single and has been making his living as a tailor for more than ten years. He manages his own shop.

He is a member of a UIMCEC branch, where he has already paid back four previous loans. Now, he is asking for a loan of 300,000 francs CFA to re-decorate his tailor shop. His goal is to improve the entryway of the shop to make it more attractive in order to encourage more customers.

Increasing the number of his customers will help him earn more each month and support the costs of paying his employees.

In the future, Omar wishes for a larger tailor shop.
