Lankeswari Mahila Samiti Group's story

Lankeswari Mahila Samiti consists of 12 women from a village in Odisha. They formed a group to help themselves to share their problems and to solve their problems among them.

One of them is Mamina, who was selected as the President of Lankeswari Mahila Samiti. The lady standing fourth from the right hand side, wearing a black dress in the photo is Mamina. Mamina is 38 years old and is living with her husband and her three children. All her children are in school. She hopes to see them later on as a officer serving the country. She is engaged in the activity of selling cow's milk in the village and nearby market. Her husband is supporting her in this activity.

She has requested a loan of 300,000 INR, which will help her to purchase more cows and fodder for her dairy business. She says a portion of the loan amount will help her to purchase a cow and fodder for cows.
