Allarakha Mahila Self Help Group's story

The responsible Allarakha Mahila Self Help Group is made up of ten members. The members of the Allarakha Mahila Self Help Group are all women from the district of Khurda in Odisha, India. One of them is Ms. Ajija, who was selected as their president. The lady sitting second from the right hand side in the front is Ajija.

Ajija is 28 years old and lives with her husband and children. She is engaged in the activity of selling goats and cow’s milk in the village and nearby market. She purchases goat kids and sells them to the butcher once they are grown up.

Ajija has requested a loan for purchasing more goat kids and a cow for selling a greater amount of milk to earn a profit. She has a very good relationship with her customers because she completes their orders on time.
