Dickson's Group's story

This group is made up of eight females who are involved in the sales of cooking utensils, slippers and sandals, fish, underwear and children's clothes, ice chests, ceramic bowls and plates, and plastic products. They have been together for two years and meet on Wednesdays, in the southern part of Teshie, to discuss businesses and repayment of loans.

Setina is a 32-year-old, plastic products seller. She sells plastic chairs, plastic buckets, plastic bowls, and other plastic products. She is married to a 35-year-old painter and they have two boys. She has been selling these products to 12 years. She plans to reinvest her profits and also save towards payment of children's school fees, with the help of the husband.
