Sarwa Wiguna Group's story

This is Sarwa Wiguna Group, located in West Bali. All the husbands of the members of the group work as farmers and as Balinese women, the group members support their husbands in earning income, by raising pigs at home.

After a successful payoff of the previous loans, these women are proceeding to the next period with a purpose to improve their businesses. Ni Ketut, head of the group, is coordinating the group members in the purchase of piglets, so that all members get good piglets. With her portion of this new loan, she is purchasing superior quality feed for her sows and piglets, to make sure they achieve healthy growth. With the profit of this effort, she hopes to buy floors for her home, which are still concrete.
