Juanita's story

Twenty-seven year old Juanita is happy and married to Juan. They have three children together and it is for them that they work as they want to provide them with a better quality of life. Juanita's work consists of selling various sweets so she has stall on the pavement outside her house. She thinks her business is very profitable as she has a regular stream of customers. She has had the same working routing for nearly ten years and she always worked alone. Juanita likes her work a lot as she enjoys the contact with customers. She says it has been very complicated for her to establish her small business and before she sold clothes but customers did not pay on time. This scared her a little when thinking about starting this new business. In spite of this, Juanita never gave up and she now has many plans for her business. For now she just wants to increase her capital. On this occasion she is applying for 500 Nuevo Soles and she is grateful to all those who make this loan possible for her to continue with her objectives. At the same time she promises to be prompt and responsible on repaying her loans. With the loan she will buy biscuits, sweets, chocolate, chewing gum, cheese puffs, lollipops and other sweets so that she can continue working.
