Her eldest son is married and lives independently, the other two boys are studying in one of the schools of the city and her youngest daughter attends a small school. Her husband is a professional driver and he offers taxi services with his own vehicle. They live in the house of a relative because they do not have a house of their own.

Rosa has been engaging in selling clothes and cosmetics for a few years. This activity helps her improving her household’s economic situation and providing for her family.

She invested her previous loan in the purchase of cosmetics, going a very goof income she has used to pay for many household expenses, and she has had no problems in repaying said loan. The new loan she is requesting will be used to buy clothes and cosmetics to increase the number of her products.

La Señora. Rosa forma parte del banco comunal El Crédito hace algunos años tiempo en el que ha fortalecidos su amistad con sus vecinas y amigas. Vive por un hermoso sector de la ciudad de Cuenca, esta ciudad que es reconocida por sus 4 ríos, su centro colonial es una mezcla de lo natural y lo moderno, su gente es tradicionalista ya que mantienen viva su cultura, son personas amables, gentiles y cálidas que laboran a diario para mejorar su estabilidad económica y de sus familias.

La Señora. Rosa tiene 40 añosa, es casada y en su unión conyugal ha concebido 4 hijos de 23, 17, 16 y 10 años de edad, su primer hijo es casado y vive independiente, sus dos siguientes hijos estudian en un colegio de la ciudad y su ultima hija estudia en una escuelita. Su esposo es un profesional del volante por lo que labora prestando sus servicios como chofer de un taxi que es propio, no tienen casa propia por lo que viven en casa de un familiar.

Doña Rosa se dedica a la venta de ropa y cosméticos actividad que la desempeña hace varios años, este negocio le permite mejorar la estabilidad económica de su hogar y sacar adelante a su familia.

Su crédito anterior lo invirtió en la compra de cosméticos de los cuales ha obtenido muy buenas ganancias con las que ha podido solventar muchos gastos de su hogar, en los pagos de dicho crédito no ha tenido ningún problema. Este nuevo crédito lo va a invertir en la compra de ropa y cosméticos para aumentar su mercadería.

Concurrent and Successive Loans

Our Field Partners often work with borrowers over a series of loans as the borrowers build credit, take out bigger loans, and expand their businesses. In order to make it easier for our Field Partners to post loans for borrowers who have been listed on Kiva before, we allow them to post successive and concurrent loans for their Kiva borrowers. This means that our Field Partners are able to post a borrower's second, third, etc., loan on Kiva without having to re-enter all of the borrower's information.

Most borrowers take out loans consecutively, meaning that they receive a second loan after having repaid the first. However, sometimes our Field Partners give out concurrent loans, allowing borrowers to take out one primary loan and a secondary "add-on" loan along with it. These "add-on" loans are typically smaller than the borrower's primary loan and serve a different purpose. Because Field Partners can now post loans as successive and concurrent loans, you will be able to track borrower progress over time and see the various ways a borrower is working with our Field Partners through funds from Kiva’s lenders.
