Zaur's story

Zaur is a 31-year-old IDP, who lives in the Bilasuvar IDP Settlement with his wife and three children. He is a farmer and has raised seasonal fruits and vegetables for the last 5 years. He chose this business because it is profitable and fresh crops are in high demand. People use fresh vegetables every day and consider them healthy. Many national dishes are made of vegetables, like pilau and dolma. Fresh fruits are served on every table in Azerbaijan and they are also use to make fresh punch. Zaur sells his crops in the bazaar. His monthly income is 150 AZN. His wife actively helps him to raise the crops. These products are in high demand and Zaur wants to expand his business and produce more fruits and vegetables to cover this market demand. For this purpose he has applied for 2000 AZN. He will buy seeds and fertilizers. This will be his 2nd loan and he has a positive loan history.
