Paulina, 35 years old, is married with two children whom she lives with together with her husband in Kaloleni, Kenya. Her husband is a farmer, and they help each other to provide for the family.
She owns a fish stall; she buys fish from fishermen and resells the fish after frying them. She is requesting a loan totaling 30,000 Kenyan shillings to buy a refrigerator to keep her fish fresh. She is grateful for the help and hopes this will help avoid losses.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
