Mbetsa is 50 years old and married with two children. She lives in Kaloleni, Kenya. She works very hard to provide for her family.
She runs a general store in her town Kaloleni and has requested a loan of KSH 50,000 to buy additional stocks to sell in her general store; oil, wheat and maize flour, sugar, salt and washing materials. She has been in this business for more than four years.
In the future, she would like to build and expand her business to secure the financial stability of her family.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
