Jiparkul's story

Jiparkul is 42 years old, married, and raising two children. Fifteen years ago she started sewing and selling traditional carpets and hats, an activity which constitutes her family's main source of income.

Having started in this business with a capital of 10,000 som (KGS), she now makes about 20,000 (KGS) som per month selling hats and carpets.

In order to further develop her business, she has turned to Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS).

She will use her loan to buy materials to make headdresses and carpets. She plans to invest her earnings into further developing her business.
