Solidaridad De Jicamarca Group's story

Greetings from Peru! We present to you a group of 7 entrepreneurial people who have a lot of creativity regarding business. They are the members of the community group "Solidarity of Jicamarca." One of the members is Eugenia who is 53 years old and the mother of a son who is her motivation for constant struggle. Eugenia is a hard worker and she has a great desire to get ahead. Eugenia is a retired teacher who, starting very early in the morning, attends to her little bodega that she has in her house and later she performs sewing services. With the loan she has been granted she will complete purchases of supplies of groceries and vegetables for her bodega and through this she will be able to improve her quality of life. In the future she would like to enlarge her bodega to obtain better earnings. Eugenia is very grateful to Kiva and Edaprospo for the help they have given her and the confidence they have instilled in her.
