A loan of $400 helped to buy replacement parts for his mototaxi.

David's story

David, age 36, is a hard-working and conscientious man. He is married to Evila, and they have four children. They live together comfortably in their own house.

David’s business activity is providing passenger transportation services in his own ‘mototaxi’ [three wheeled motorized vehicle]. This is his enterprise. However, the quality of his vehicle is not ideal. This is because he bought it used, and it needs some repairs.

He likes this business activity. It allows him to have income with which he is able to pay for the family expenses. He started out of the need to have his own work. This is because the doors always closed at the places where he went to work, and he was not able to find fixed employment.

He now feels more secure as he is able to manage his schedule, and he is his own boss. He has plans to make his business grow by purchasing a heavy transport vehicle because the pay is much greater.

He will now request a loan for 1,000 soles in order to be able to repair his mototaxi. He will buy some replacement parts and accessories that he needs in order to continue working. He will buy things like new tires, mirrors, and upholstery.

He is grateful for the financial help that he has received in order to be able to reach his objectives.
