A loan of $650 helped purchase traditional women's clothing to sell.

Victoria's story

Victoria is 33 years of age, married, and has 3 sons, all in school. She has sold traditional clothing from her house for the last 5 years. Victoria began with just a few items of clothing and, now, she sells a variety in typical styles, including traditional blouses, sashes of different designs and colors, and traditional scarves.

Her business has grown up to the present. Victoria dreams that her sons will graduate and become professionals. She contributes economically as best she can from her home and hopes that her sons will have what they could not in the past.

Victoria is grateful for the help. She has expanded her micro-enterprise, using the loans provided, and she now wants to begin selling sandals and, also, to purchase a showcase for her business.
