Juan Antonio's story

Juan resides in the city of Masaya, cradle of Nicaraguan folklore. He is single, 22 years old and he is a merchant. His family nucleus is made up of five people including his mother and three sisters. Juan has his own business and it consists of a line of clothing, household appliances and cosmetics. He started it with the purpose of helping with the household income since his mom is a single mother and he needed to support her in the purchase of medicines for her illness. His clientele belongs to Masaya and the municipality of Nandaime to which he has to travel to offer his products. He works by orders, the customer requests the product from him and later he takes it to them. He purchases his products in the municipal market of Masaya. Currently he is having a lot of demand, which is why he is requesting a loan that will help him to increase his business and therefore his sales. He will use the loan for the purchase of a bale of used clothing, children’s shampoo, hand cream, hair cream and compact powder.
