A loan of $1,550 helped to buy construction materials.

Samuel's story

Samuel is a 21-year-old who is very much an adult as he is very responsible and above all an honest man. Like all good Peruvians, he very much likes our food and the dish which he particularly enjoys is Carapulcra. In his spare time, he likes listening to music, especially when he is in a bad mood as it calms him down. He holds a certificate in high education but seeing that he couldn't find work, he decided to set up his own business.

Samuel currently makes his living selling shoes. He is very much a fighter, and dedicates around nines hours to the business and can attend to 20 customers on a daily basis. He considers that it is going well as he has good taste in shoes and his customers like his products.

Samuel is very content and grateful to the Kiva loan lenders as it is the second time that they have supported him, and it is thanks to this help that he can buy construction materials to finish building his small home and plaster the walls. In this way he will be able to improve his quality of life and above all continue to save for his greatest dream; "having his own shoe business."
