A loan of $775 helped to buy soft drinks, bottled water and beer.

Lleny's story

Lleny, 44 years old, is married to Juan, who is a merchant and is the father of their four children. Together they live in their own house, which was purchased with the fruit of their labor.

Lleny sells drinks such as soft drinks, beer and bottled water from a large cooler that she purchased some time ago and installed in her home. It is from there that she serves her customers in a friendly and cordial way, as she knows that this is the way to earn their loyalty.

For now she works alone and is doing very well. She considers her business to be profitable since it brings her good earnings. She comments that thanks to this job she can help out her spouse with household costs and not be totally dependent on him.

Now, after seeing good results, she plans to continue with her business and increase her merchandise in order to help it grow. She would like to apply for a loan of 2000 soles, which she would use to purchase various brands of bottled water, soft drinks and beer. She in turn is very grateful for the financial support offered by this organization.
