A loan of $625 helped to pay for school supplies, uniforms, shoes, and tuition.

Ervin De Jesús's story

El Sauce is a town surrounded by gentle lands where corn is grown to produce tortillas, sesame which is processed into cooking oil, and beans which are one of the typical dishes eaten daily by residents of El Sauce. In this marvelous piece of land dwells Ervin de Jesus, a 51-year-old man who has spent almost his whole life working as an inspector of diseases which are carried by mosquitoes, and who struggles day by day to encourage the population to maintain cleanliness in their home to avoid these types of diseases that above all attack children and the elderly. Ervin is a responsible person and homeowner who has tried to give the best to his wife and his two children within his ability. At this time he has the need for a loan to cover the educational expenses of his children, to pay for school supplies, uniforms, school shoes and tuition, since his salary does not cover these expenses which he will have to incur at the start of the school year. He trusts God that Kiva's lenders, through Ceprodel, will finance this loan so he can carry out this investment in the future of his children.
