Mwachupa is married. His wife is a farmer. The couple has five children who are enrolled in school. They live in their own home in Tiribe, Mombasa.
More than five years ago, Mwachupa started purchasing and raising goats to sell for their meat. He started the business with capital from his savings and with much sacrifice and dedication, has managed to progress. The loan will be used to buy goats to sell.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
