Al Doha Group
In this Group: Maha, Hala, Dalal
Maha is the featured borrower of Al Doha's group. She got with the other members of the group to apply for this youth loan from Kiva's partner Al Majmoua because they have always been friends and neighbors.

Maha is a 27-year-old single woman who has been working in photography since three years ago. She loves her business a lot and puts so much effort in developing it as much as she can.

Through this loan that she has applied for, Maha will buy a new flash for her camera, because the present one is not working fine, which affects the pictures' resolution, and will strongly affect her business development.

She hopes that one day she can open a big studio, and recruit people who can help her cover many occasions at the same time.
Maha is the one on the left.

Hala is a 26-year-old single woman who has been working in a medicine warehouse since two years ago. Through this loan, she will make medication she needs. She is the one on the right.

Dalal is a 28-year-old single woman who has been working in a laboratory since three years ago. Through this loan, Dalal will be capable of visiting religious areas outside Lebanon, which she has been seeking to do for a long time.

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
