A loan of $5,550 helped a member to increase her stock of cosmetics to meet customer demand.


Jipe Moyo Yombo Group's story

Zuhura,who is in her late twenties,is married with a boy who is still young. She originally managed a broiler business but has been working on another business, supplying cosmetics to different shops, for a period of six months now. She works from 8 am to 6 pm daily and is able to make a fair monthly profit.

This will be her third loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to open her current business, cover her household expenses and pay back all her loans successfully. She will use this loan to increase her stock of cosmetics to meet customer demand. Her dream is to one day be able to have a business premises at which she can sell cosmetics at wholesale.

She will share this loan to her loan group Jipe Moyo Yombo, which has 18 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
